After the sculpting and painting process, I have exported the model to Maya. Then, I have made the skeleton and I have bound the skin of the character to it. I have also made some controllers and nodes in order to move the joints easily.
Then, I have set some poses like run, fight, jump…
The next step is animating the character: in this flash file I show you some basic and cyclic movements I have set. Please, do not miss the dance movement ;)
In future entries I am going to try new more complex movements, for example, fight with weapons, fight against other characters or interact with the environment.
